Independent Living Program


Services are focused on assisting youth who are or were in foster care to become independent adults. Youth who qualify for the program include those youth age 14 or older who are currently in foster care or who were in foster care for at least 180 days since turning 14.


ILP services include:


  • Educational Assistance
  • Employment Assistance
  • Housing Assistance
  • Life Skills Training

Qualifications:

  • Referral from DHS (Department of Human Services)
  • Currently a ward of the court and in custody of DHS
  • or Need to have an open, voluntary, case with DHS after wardship has been dismissed.
