Linda Butler, Vice Chair
Linda was born in Long Beach, CA, and raised in a family of loving support as the youngest of four children, and the only girl. With all older brothers, it was all about sports. She attended her first football game at six weeks old and has had a love of the game ever since. Linda cares deeply about others and was active in college at Cal State University of Long beach, working as a tutor for underprivileged children. Her first degree was in Sociology, which has served her well in business, to view the world and its trends. Her second love is accounting. After taking the necessary courses, she worked in public accounting in Los Angeles and Redding.
Linda met her husband Chuck in 1972. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1975 and have not looked back. The founding of Butler Ford, Butler Acura, Butler Kia and Butler Hyundai have been rewarding experiences and have given them opportunities to help others.
A belief in “Serving” has given Linda the honor of being on many boards, teaching Sunday school, years as a Girl Scout Leader and now as a member of Community Works Board. She is privileged to serve with an intelligent, giving and thoughtful board and staff of Community Works.
