Medford, OR, (August 26, 2011) - Community Works today announced that Ginger Hahn, MPH will become the President/CEO for the agency -- advocating for the clients and communities it serves. Working with the Board of Directors and staff, Hahn will ensure the integrity and vitality of the agency, and set direction and policy in compliance with its mission.
"We are very excited Ginger has agreed to lead Community Works. She brings a vast amount of experience in public health and non-profit leadership. Hahn, with a Master's Degree in public health from California State, Long Beach, comes directly from The Center Orange County where, as Executive Director, she focused on building infrastructure and collaborating with multiple public and private agencies. Prior to The Center Orange County, Hahn was Director of Communications, Development and Volunteer Services at Latino Health Access in Orange County. Hahn has worked in both the public and private sectors and has extensive bi-lingual experience.
Hahn says of her appointment: "I am absolutely inspired by Community Works. I can't think of a higher honor than to be selected to work with this passionate, talented and dedicated staff and Board, in service to and in collaboration with the community." She also expressed that she is delighted to fulfill her goal to relocate to the Rogue Valley.
With broad-based strategic thinking, planning and effective implementation skills derived from years of experience in public health and the non-profit arenas, Hahn plans to guide and oversee the implementation of the Agency's mission, including raising funds - public and private. The Board of Directors and staff of Community Works are pleased that Hahn will be joining the agency on October 3, 2011.
