Amber Bullock, Development Director
Amber was born and raised in Southern California. She discovered volunteering by serving at Beach Clean-ups as a child and learned of her passion for serving. Amber believes it takes a community to heal its own and we are all connected in this together. She has worked in fundraising in Art Galleries and Museums and volunteered for many cultural and educational non-profits. She has three children, Christian (19), Ellie (17) and Adam (13), that she homeschooled through middle school. Amber relocated to Southern Oregon from California for a simpler and better life. With her children in school, Amber returned to work, desiring a nonprofit that would be serving women and children with the goal of them make better lives for themselves. Amber is very grateful to found Community Works and be part of an extraordinary organization. Amber likes spending time with her family traveling, hiking or anything outdoors.
“You only have what you give. It’s by spending yourself that you become rich.”
